Would be happy to recommend for a weekend
Trendy hotel, friendly staff, and the clean rooms made our stay enjoyable, highlighted by the coffee in the reception area, which was a delightful perk for starting the day.
Everything exceeded my hopes.

The Moxy was the perfect location to visit my
son at UT. It was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and super friendly. Lots of space downstairs to work, though I wish there were more dining options available during the evening.

Vibrant and welcoming decor creates a lively atmosphere.
During my stay, I experienced multiple frustrations. I struggled to get any assistance from the front desk staff, who seemed disinterested and unhelpful. Additionally, there was often no bartender present during peak hours, and I couldn't use my free drink offer. On top of that, the lack of basic amenities in the room, such as a second trash can, made my stay less comfortable than I had hoped.

Solo traveler in search of a good time
I enjoyed the lively atmosphere here, especially the Zombie tacos from the late-night taco bar, delicious and hit the spot after a long day. The staff really made an effort, those drink tokens were a nice touch, which made unwinding after my travels so much easier.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but you get what you pay for, so that’s alright.

We visited UT for a football game and caught a concert at the Moody Center. The vibes were great, and the hotel is super convenient. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food options were awesome, too!
The only downside was that there were parties at the bar, which made it loud at night.

The hotel features a 24-hour taco bar, perfect for a midnight snack after a long day. The unique lounge check-in experience adds a modern twist, making it feel more relaxed and inviting.
Parking can be a hassle. both the garage and auxiliary garage were full during my stay, forcing me to find a lot a few blocks away. I also encountered issues with my room lacking a bathroom, which was an unexpected drawback, as I had to rely on public restrooms nearby. The water pressure in the shower was disappointingly low, making it less enjoyable to freshen up. Additionally, the bar service seemed slow at times, which detracted from the overall atmosphere.

Trendy vibe and great location near campus
I loved the trendy decor and vibrant atmosphere that made it a perfect spot to relax and socialize after a busy day. The staff were genuinely friendly and made me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The outdoor lounge areas with fire pits provided a cozy setting to unwind in the evenings. However, I wished there were more dining options available on-site beyond the taco stand.
